Better Together / Wild Card Teacher Card

This is a card and envelope that my daughter, Jaimie, and I made for her teacher in June. Jaimie's friend, Kayla, was staying with us so she signed too! We used the Cricut Imagine Better Together cartridge with the Wild Card cartridge. I was really happy with how these turned out ... I think the little flower and butterfly are just adorable ~ so happy and cheerful! :) I didn't realize until it was too late that my little flowers on the yellow circle were going sideways ... but I still think it came out really cute :) There is some blurriness on the envelope because I removed their last names.

A little closer so you can see the dimension ...
We inked all the edges and pop-dotted everything ... I always like to have as much dimension as possible :) We stamped the "Best Wishes" with Jet Black StazOn ink and just added a little white organza ribbon ... We used a mini glue dot to seal the envelope ... How do you seal your envelopes? I'd love some ideas!
The inside of the card ... (and the envelope again) ...

Just one last picture because I loved this card so much :)

Thanks so much for looking! I hope you liked my card! Please leave me a comment ~ I appreciate them so much ... I don't know anyone that makes cards or scrapbooks ~ or even does any kind of crafting for that matter! I promise I will return the favor and visit your blog too :)

Engagement Card

Well it has been awhile since I've posted. We've been super busy between our trip to California, Hurricane Irene and starting school! My daughter, Jaimie, and I went to visit my older daughter, Jenna, in San Diego in August. She recently got engaged and his family had an extravagant party for Jenna and their son, Maz. It was a beautiful party! We got the last flight home before the hurricane and at 3 a.m. went to the grocery store for supplies because I knew there was nothing fresh in the house to eat and certainly no extra batteries, water etc. for a hurricane! Can I just tell you something? The place looked like it had been ransacked! The shelves were bare and the place was a mess! Luckily, we made it through the hurricane without too many troubles. We didn't have any flooding or damage and our power was on for the most part!

This is the card and envelope ...

In any event, this is the card that Jaimie and I made for the newly-engaged couple! We used the "heart" cut from Damask Decor, some Jolee stickers and some K & Company "Elegance" paper with coordinating border die cut and clear die cuts. I used heavy cardstock from The Paper Company as my card base. As always, I pop-dotted everything in sight lol and added Martha Stewart pearls ... I just love them! The envelope is from Bazzill Paper Co. I also used the Wedding collection stamps from Inkadinkadoo with StazOn Jet Black ink. I used my white Gelly Roll pen on the envelope and I used my Zig  2-Way Glue to adhere the clear die cuts on the card and envelope. I used my awesome ATG to adhere the Damask Decor cut to the card base ... and a gold pen on the inside :)
