Rock Princess Birthday Card

This is a card and envelope that my daughter, Jaimie, and I created for her friends' birthday on my Cricut Imagine! We had so much fun putting this together! We started with White AC (American Crafts) Cardstock ~ my favorite! We used the Rock Princess and Slumber Party cartridges with tons of pop-dots!

We used Martha Stewart's Glitter Glue for the streaks in the paper doll's hair and on the flower on the front of the card ...

Jaimie used Sakura Souffle 3-D Opaque Ink pens on the envelope.

We used Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type stickers to spell the word "peace" and  the rhinestone on the flower is "Grass Green" from Queen & Co.

On the back of the card Jaimie used lots of pop dots to give the shooting star more dimension and stamped the "Handmade with Love" with Azure Stazon ink ...

We sealed the envelope with a glue dot hidden by the peace sign sticker from Jolee's Boutique. I wasn't very happy with the envelope to begin with because you could see the marks that the Cricut cuts so that you know where to score it ... I decided to add the purple lace to hopefully distract from those marks ...

Jaimie and her friends were in LOVE with everything "lime green" and "purple" all year this school year, so she didn't want to use any of the adorable Imagine Patterns or Colors ... these came straight from the color palette in the Imagine and in the end, I think it worked ... We popped in a gift card to Toys R Us and we were good to go! She had a great time at the Pool Party!

Thanks so much for looking! We hope you liked our card!
