Bo Bunny/Cricut Scrapbook Page

This is a one-page layout I did of my daughters using Bo Bunny Sophie paper, the Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly punch and the Kate's ABC's cartridge with my Cricut Expression ... I think this is my best scrapbook page to-date :)

Scrapbook Page using SEI Jolie Chocolat' Paper

This is a layout I did of my girls using my Cricut Expression with SEI papers and the Martha Stewart Daisy Fan punch ... I tried to keep it simple ... This picture was taken while my daughter, Jenna, was home from California in December 2010 ... We live in New Jersey and I miss her way TOO much!

Berry Sweet Scrapbook Page

This is a scrapbook page I did of my daughter, Jaimie. I wasn't very happy with how it turned out. I tried "distressing" the edges and I don't think that really worked with the paper collection .. Also, the next morning in the daylight, I realized that my "berry" paper was upside-down! I did find small berry stickers later and put them on right-side-up later but ... It's not one of my favorite pages ... even though I do really love this picture of my daughter :)

Martha Stewart Daisy Fan Punch Layout

This is a one-page layout I did of my dog, Kahlua. She is a Chow Chow. She is 11-years-old. She was a "snow-dog" in this picture ... I love her so much! She is my "woobie!"

I had just purchased the Martha Stewart Daisy Fan punch and was pretty happy with how the page came out. I do think it could use some rhinestones or something to make it sparkle a little ...

My First-Ever Card ~ Cindy Loo

This is the very first card I ever made! I used my Cricut Expression and the Cindy Loo cartridge. I think that is my favorite cartridge ever! I used the Martha Stewart Monarch butterfly punch too ... The second image is the inside of the card ...

One Must Love a Cat ... Two-Page Scrapbook Layout

I did this two-page layout earlier this year ... It was the first layout I did after purchasing my Cricut Expression ... I used the "Simply Sweet" cartridge ...

Turns out, my kitty, Skittle, approved of the job I did ;) I have five cats ... yes, yes, I know ~ it's too many! But I love them all! But Skittle is my favorite and she knows its! Ssshhh ... don't tell the others! Nobody else knows! lol ...

My Daughter's Birthday Two-Page Scrapbook Layout

This is another older project ... I used the Wild Saffron collection and some Jolee's stickers for the flowers ... I framed all the photographs with ribbon ... I used some word stickers that describe my girls on the left-hand-side and put the word "Celebrate" down the right-hand-side ... I like this layout pretty well but now that I have learned so much more, there are definitely things I would change or fix ... That is why I decided to post my older creations ~ so I can see how far I've come!

My First-Ever Scrapbook Page

This is my daughter, Jaimie ... we had taken a trip down the shore to Pt. Pleasant, New Jersey ...

Older Projects ~ New Posts :)

Since my blog is brand-spankin' new, I decided to post some of the projects I had done in the past ... this one is a two-page layout I did before I had my Cricut Expression or Imagine ... I used DCWV Spring Stack ...

This was Easter a couple years ago ... It shows my daughters and my brother and his family ...  The photo on the bottom left shows my SIL, Jaimie and Jenna trying on a hat that I created ... When I woke Jaimie up for school that day, she informed me that she had to have a "Spring Hat" for the parade at school THAT DAY! And, it was supposed to be silly and over-the-top ... Well, I grabbed the hat and allllllll of her "hair pretties" and clipped them to the hat ... It was a HUGE success! I loved dressing her up like my little doll in Gymboree and the hat was a great way for me to remember all the pretty collections we had accumulated over the years :)

Heritage Day 4th Grade Project

Well! I sure have been busy! My daughter's 4th grade class was having Heritage Day today. My daughter, Jaimie, wanted to do an extra-credit project using the Cricut. She had to include a page of words that described her country. She chose to do Portugal. I used my Imagine and the Birthday Bash font to cut the green letters and my Expression with Markers to create the title ~ although I can't remember what font we went with in the end ...

Our diorama was done on the Cricut ... I was surprised how many different cartridges I was able to use! I didn't think I liked Pop-Up Neighborhood but WOW! I sure was grateful to have it for this project! We also used Create-a-Critter, Paper Dolls, Just Because Cards, Imagine More Cards and French Manor ...

I used Glossy Accents to highlight the windows and the bathtub and pop dots on the couches ... I inked all the edges to try and add dimension ... We had a lot of fun creating this together! I used the Gypsy to create all the images ... On the outside we also included a wheelbarrow, a pick-up truck, tractor and a boat ... We also included a sign to "Welcome" you to Portugal and a Hot Air Balloon because that was my favorite image on the Pop-Up Neighborhood cartridge :) If we had more time, I'm sure we could have included a lot more but all in all, I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out! I was surprised to see that Jaimie was the only one to do a diorama! I hope she will get a good grade!

Julie's Birthday Card

Today is my friend, Julie's, 71st birthday. I made her this card using my Cricut Imagine with the Imagine More, Mother's Day Bouquet and Birthday Bash cartridges. I made a matching envelope and package to go with it .. I was pretty happy with how this came out. I finally used my Martha Stewart glitter ... that was fun but messy! I love using the pearls and ribbon with lace ... it makes it feel so girly to me and I love that! I think she really liked it ... I hope you do too! Any suggestions on how I could have completed the inside of the card? That was the only part I wasn't too happy with ... Thanks so much for looking ... I would really appreciate your comments as I get started with card-making and blogging! *hugs* Kimberly

update: I found my original inspiration for this card on page 118 of the Cricut Birthdays magazine. The original was by Michele Kovack :)

So, it's been awhile

since the last time I played with my blog ... I guess I feel as though I am missing something ... Is anyone actually going to read this? hmmm ... why would anyone want to hear what I have to say? Well, I'll just have to wait and see I suppose :) What do most people blog about? The weather? Their kids and families? Their jobs? I'm definitely confused! lol

So, here are two of my latest Cricut creations ... I hope you like them!

The first one is a card for a dear friend of mine ... This one I made on my Cricut Expression using the Cindy Loo cartridge with DCWV Linen Closet paper, Martha Stewart butterflies and pearls ...

The second one is a card for my daughter and her fiance'. They are moving into their first apartment together so I thought I house-warming card would be perfect! I made it using my Cricut Imagine and the All Wrapped Up cartridge :)
